Prayer Group meets on the First Wednesday’s of the month at 7:00 in the Church to pray the Rosary and intercede for all those who are on the prayer list and those who have called in with their prayer requests. The prayer chain allows for those who need prayers during the week to receive immediate attention.
The Parish office receives a request and passes it along to the leader who in turn calls or e-mails all those in the group. Although, the mission is simple and the structure uncomplicated, the prayers are a powerful tool for those in need. Even if we don’t see the results we are looking for, we know that through prayer, God’s grace enabled the family, the friends, and the person, to endure the trial or hardship with patience and perseverance. We also believe that through prayer we come to know and accept God’s will in situations. With the acceptance comes peace. But, we believe that our God is a God of miracles.
