Since 1986 the Prison Christian Growth Group (PCGG), a Catholic ministry, has been sharing Christ with the incarcerated. Even though we are sponsored by the Diocese of Harrisburg, the groups visits prisons thoroughout Pennsylvania. Lancaster’s team members come from St. Philip’s, St. Joseph’s, St. Catherine’s, St. Anthony’s and St. John Newman’s parishes. This group visits Lancaster County Prison twice monthly and Camp Hill every week. You can choose where you want to visit. The meetings are held as St. Philip’s Parish Activity Center, on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:00 am and last an hour and half during. We read Bible verses which follow a theme, and share how we can improve our lives by living these verses. Prison ministry can add an unbelievable dimension to your life, enriching you by sharing the love of Jesus with those who need Him!
